Direct Dialling In. Your VoIP provider will asign you a phone number with an area code (eg 09 999 9999). This means you will get local calling rates with this area code.

For example, someone who does not have a VoIP service can call your DDI from a standard phone, and talk to you as if you had a standard phone line.
