Postpaid

"Postpaid" refers to a system of billing for a service whereby a company extends short term credit to a user, and at the end of a given period (usually one month), invoices the customer for the services used during that period - the payment is made after the fact.

In the New Zealand mobile communications market, Telecom often market their monthly/contract plans as Postpaid while Vodafone opt for 'On Account', which has the same definition.
