Talk:Asterisk Consultants
From New Zealand VoIP Users Group
Hi all,
Firstly, I'd like to say that I value this "Asterisk Consultants" page highly - I have received several new business prospects from people who found me on this page. And it's free.
However, I think the inclusion of email addresses in plain text on this page is probably leading to us all getting more spam. On my website I expurgated all email addresses in favour of a fill-in contact-form for members of the public to use if they wanted to send me an email.
I think it would be a good idea if we were to do the same on this page. i.e. replace our email addresses with a contact-form.
However, I'm not a web designer, so don't really know the details of how to do that.
Does anyone else here think that would be a good idea - and perhaps more relevant still - know how to put the code in to make that work?
kind regards Andrew TD, VoiceWise Ltd.
I used to try not to publish any email addresses on a web page, now I just don't worry about it and get better spam filtering to deal with it.
A contact form isn't something that we could easily put on this site but of course you're more than welcome to replace your email address with a link to your contact form -- HadleyRich 19:48, 17 April 2007 (NZST)
